Picturing the World
As a curatorial research assistant for Northeastern University, I researched and wrote about a collection of historically significant prints and maps, called "Picturing the World." In fall 2015, I designed a website for the content using Wordpress, and tested the site across browsers to ensure that the design was responsive and intuitive for users.
Tasked with designing the look and feel of the site, I chose a cropped section of a vivid piece to inspire the site's branding, from logo to color palette. The piece itself is featured prominently on the site as the responsive masthead, edited to ensure accessibility.
